Our History

Established in 2002, Chilli Api Catering specialises in event catering and is halal certified by Muis. Although Peranakan food is our specialty, our menus also feature fusion and international dishes, providing our clients a wide variety to accommodate the varying tastes and preferences of their guests.

Our Roots

Carrying on the baton of ‘Traditional Taste, Modern Touch' from our flagship restaurant – Chilli Padi Nonya Restaurant, we emphasise the aesthetics of each of our catering events. At Chilli Api, we are dedicated to styling your event with bold and inventive creations - from traditional yet exquisite batik settings to modern and elegant setups. Our attention to detail extends to the particular needs of individual customers and we are able to customise decorative elements to suit your occasion.

Impress your guests with something unique and opt for our Corporate Delight menus which include our rich and aromatic signature dishes. For more formal corporate functions, we have our signature packages with tempting premium food items that are sure to whet your appetite.
Let our handmade nonya kuehs add colour to your buffet spread. Bright orange Bingka Ubi, pastel green Kueh Sarlat and Rainbow Lapis. All our kuehs are freshly baked in our kitchens every morning.

Our Strength in Private Events

Chilli Api also provides Halal catering services for private events such as home gatherings, outdoor events, weddings and baby showers. For true Peranakan fanfare, check out our different menus. Food safety is our foremost concern. At Chilli Api, we have an internationally accredited Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2018). Our team of dedicated Hygiene & Safety Officers not only ensure compliance with the strict guidelines set out by MUIS and the Singapore Food Agency, they also regularly review our procurement, production and logistics processes and ensure the adoption of best practices to deliver world-class service.
